OK, not so new – but blowin’ up big time lately. Context is getting crammed down our throats these days as if it’s a new concept.
In 2012, HubSpot’s Corey Eridon defined context marketing as “delivering the right content, to the right people, at the right time” in What’s the Deal With This Whole ‘Context Marketing’ Thing?
Although the following Internet-industry expert posts don’t mention context specifically, a lot of them stress the importance of knowing your intended audience. We have to flesh out our personas (OK, that pun seems kinda gross) and know their every move to capture their interest and best serve potential customers.
