Cool tools and new stuff!  It was difficult to choose what to include in this week’s latest and greatest web writing news, given all the great content generated. There are elaborate how-to’s, in-depth pieces, new search engine rollouts and applications, the real-time marketing buzz, and some really nifty SEO and content marketing tools. ::Whew::   Enjoy, and remember to share!

Blekko’s gone live and has some very cool SEO tools:  separate posts at Search Engine Land explore how the slashtag search engine works, and the valuable SEO data the user can access.

Speaking of new search options, the much-anticipated Bing-Facebook social search is now official and you can read all about it at Search Engine Watch.

And what about Google? Search Engine Journal reports that the big G has expanded its “Related Searches,” and in a second post explains how to see Google search results for other locations.

The need for speed: much buzz surrounding David Meerman Scott’s recent ebook on real-time marketing and pr, including posts at Hubspot and Social Media Examiner, as well as one penned by the author himself at Marketing Profs.

Yet another cool tool:  this Content Marketing Institute post discusses the virtues and how-to’s of Yammer for collaborative content marketing.

Finally, Copyblogger boasts an exceptional post about igniting your own social media fire, while Search Engine Strategies announces its February 2011 SES Search and Social Accelerator Conference/Expo in San Diego. (Ah, San Diego in February sounds enticing, no)?
