About Laura Crest
A professional writer and editor for over 30 years, Laura Crest began her career in print while earning her degree in Natural Resources Management and Journalism from Michigan State University. She established her own professional resume writing and SMB marketing business based in Denver, then moved on to writing white papers and publications for non-profit environmental organizations as part of her inter-disciplinary graduate work at the University of Washington’s Institute for Marine Studies.
She launched her online SEO copywriting and content marketing business in 2009, creating optimized websites, sales copy and marketing content for a diverse clientele, from small businesses to enterprise-level brands. She’s recognized as an accomplished (and oftentimes colorful) digital marketing copywriter and editor.
Laura’s passion for writing and connecting brands to their audience is only matched by her love of wilderness and wildlife, both terrestrial and aquatic. As an advocate for the planet’s denizens, she supports several international and local environmental organizations.
